has anyone read the works from this guy? his name is "Dionysius the Areopagite" and some people argue that this was the guy talked about in the book of acts and some say he was a mystic from a latter part in time. I have read a little bit of his works before but now I am gonna read all of it. maybe I can get closer to God by having lights transform me to light.

I have read and heard words of real saints and they make me see how much i lack and how much more I need to try to be with God. it must be that i am partly blind, I want to understand and be as close to God as I can. I see that any amount that other divine lights shine on me, even though they can't shine all of what they are on me ( concerning knowledge ), i am still greatly helped by it all. I seriously want to be as close to God as I can.
It is sort of like a free pass for me... like I get to eat of the garden of eden and fill my land with all kinds of seeds. I understand that the heavenly church.... that each stone heard each other and perfectly agreed. I have faith in God that he can raise those who seek Him only up very high like all the rest of those people who are called such things as "elect" "prophet" "apostle" "saint" "mystic" and I believe that this is only possible because of the Lord. I really just want to be in Love with God, God is the only one that matters and I am not worthy but God is. when God matters then all his creations really do matter too, and I just wanna be a light to show that God is the one to be clinging to.
if anyone has any other kind of suggestion of who else I need to read to get closer to God and to help those that are not as close, then please do suggest. I will probably suggest other people in this thread too.
i think that God alone is far above all that is sufficient for everything but still I feel that I should also search out all who speak with the Lord so that I may be built up and so that i may somehow become a behemoth and try and drink of the river jordan if that is even possible and I suppose it is because Christ is the jordan and that is the river that heals all my sins... I just want to be built up to God as much as I can and as fast as I can. I am but a fool that can not even speak words good enough to make people see God correctly but I hope that God will make something out of all of us that seek Him.
I want to have a good sight and be able to just know what God is saying plainly, as God promised that all the mountains and the hills will be made flat. and i want to know what it is that I need to be doing for whatever plans God has for all of us here in the end of this age of darkness...
