Best furniture brands?

Hi,

I'm going to be purchasing a new sofa and loveseat and wanted to know what the best furniture brands out there were? I don't have a very big budget, so please exclude Pottery Barn, Basset, etc. I've heard of Benchcraft, Furniture of America, etc..
Please help.
